Small Showa-style neighborhood sento in Fukushima City
Shared bathing area for all genders
Shower, wash stations, soap and shampoo provided
There are wash stations, but soap and shampoo are not provided; small bottles are sold at the counter.
On-site or nearby parking available
A compact neighborhood sento with two tubs. One has ore laid on its bottom and is sold as a mineral bath, and there are also an electric bath and a bubbling bath. The washing area has taps and fixed showers with no temperature control, so you take the water as it comes. Soap and shampoo are not provided, but small bottles are sold at the counter, and there are lockers with keys in the changing room. The place feels very Showa: comb-shaped locker keys, Kerorin wash basins, and old pop songs playing in the bathroom. Locals are said to like it hot, and some visitors find the water hotter than they expected. Reviewers call it the last sento left in Fukushima City. The small parking lot in front is tight.
