About
The only inn in Ashinomaki Onsen with its own private spring source, feeding both indoor and outdoor baths with unrecirculated water (kakenagashi). The two bath sets swap between men's and women's sides during a stay. The water is clear. The three-story wooden building sits in the Okawa valley gorge and was registered as a national tangible cultural property in 2019. The inn is a member of the Nihon Hito wo Mamoru Kai (日本秘湯を守る会), the association of Japan's hidden hot-spring inns.
