Day Use
YesDay-use bathing hours are posted online about a week ahead and can shift, so it is worth checking before a visit. The inn sometimes closes to day visitors for cleaning or maintenance, and day-use bathing may be suspended entirely around Obon and New Year, best confirmed by phone.
Day-use bathing is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children, and covers only the large indoor bath and the rotenburo.

Keizan is a ryokan in Hirugami Onsen with a large indoor bath and an open-air rotenburo built from stone brought down from the Southern Alps. The water is smooth on the skin with a light sulfur trace, and guests often come out with noticeably softer skin. A private bath for up to eight can also be reserved. Day visitors are welcome to use the indoor bath and the rotenburo, and groups of eight or more can book a kaiseki lunch plan in advance. Every room sits on the fourth floor or higher, so all of them look out over the Achi River and the Hirugami hot spring town below. The inn is Welcome Baby certified and keeps baby gear on loan for families with small children. Its name, Yurui, comes from a local Achi-mura dialect word for the irori (囲炉裏) hearth, a nod to the warmth of gathering round one.
