A sodium-led bicarbonate-chloride spring of the classic jūsō-sen family, with a salt-tinged finish from the chloride sub-type. The water emerges clear and colourless around 47 °C, carrying a faint salty tang on the lips and a soft H₂S note in the air. Bicarbonate softness layered over chloride heat-retention gives lasting warmth after the bath.

Part of the Kyushu 88 Onsens list https://www.88onsen.com/spot/detail/hid/115 Price: 460 yen. Very crowded, so I couldn't take photos — attaching ones from the website (this is the men's side; the women's side has fewer windows). Inside there are 3 baths: very hot, hot (felt like 42-43 degrees to me), and cold, plus a sauna. The water is very "soapy" and pleasant. I assume the composition is on the photo — experts, please help! The website says hydrogen carbonate spring. Soap, towels, and hair dryer available for an extra fee. There are a couple of lockers at the reception; the changing room lockers don't lock. No milk — just a vending machine with sodas.
