Yakushi Onsen, located in the Yakushi area of Kagoshima City, is a natural onsen with a sodium chloride spring. It is one of the oldest onsens in the city, with nearly a century of history, and was renewed in May 2023. The hot water flows directly from the underground spring into the baths, providing a rich water flow with a smooth texture that benefits the skin. Facilities include a sauna, cold bath, electric bath, jacuzzi bath, lockers with keys, and massage machines. The men's sauna offers a sauna stone and aroma water löyly experience. Guests can enjoy the bubble bath and sauna while feeling the breeze from the adjacent park's greenery. Access is easy from Yakushicho, a 2-minute walk from the Kagoshima High School bus stop, and there is parking for 15 cars.
