A small ryokan in the hills outside Koriyama, with ten Japanese-style rooms. The spring water is used undiluted in separate men's and women's baths, each with an indoor bath and an open-air one. The open-air baths are wrapped in forest, with a stream running just below, and they are pleasant in snow. The water is mild, with a faint sulfur smell. There are only a few washing stations per side, so it can get crowded when day visitors come on busy days. Two private family baths, one indoor and one half open-air, are kept for overnight guests and booked at the front desk. It is a quiet, plain inn with home-style cooking.
