A small ryokan in Kuzu Onsen, Omachi, Nagano, quietly tucked beside the Takase gorge. The men's and the women's baths each have an indoor tub and an open-air bath with the Northern Alps behind it. There is also a private family bath (貸切の家族風呂), free for staying guests and bookable by the hour by day visitors. Day-use bathing is welcome. The building is plain and the setting is the draw: a river, the mountains and not much else.
