A hot-spring inn inside Akita Geijutsu-mura (あきた芸術村), the arts village next to the Warabiza theater troupe's playhouse. There are two indoor baths: a spacious large bath built with plenty of cypress, looking out on a garden, and a smaller bath with a sauna and a cold plunge. The water is gentle on the skin, and the large bath is popular with families bathing with small children. Day visitors can use the baths as well as overnight guests. The inn has Japanese-style and bed rooms, and a Japanese restaurant, Bakkya (ばっきゃ), serving Akita local dishes and Tazawako beer.
