About

The day-use spa of Alpenblick Resort in Ikenotaira (池の平) onsen, in the Myoko highland. There is an indoor bath with big windows facing Mount Myoko, a sauna, a cold plunge filled with groundwater, and a rotenburo where the water runs cloudy and black with mud, which is the unusual part. The indoor bath water is clear and plain. Beyond the baths there is a large hall for resting, a shop, and an in-house izakaya open to bathers. Towels can be rented. Baths are separated by gender.
