Ryusuien (柳水園) is a small, unpretentious ryokan with Japanese-style rooms in Sakihana Onsen, Gosen. The baths are separate men's and women's ones, filled with hot spring water that runs kakenagashi (かけ流し). Visitors describe the water as emerald green, with a light sulfur smell. The building is old and makes no attempt to look new, and for many guests that plainness is part of the appeal. Day-use bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) has been reported by recent visitors.
