About

A ryokan on the Agano river, right next to Sakihana station. The baths are on the 6th floor: a large bath for each gender and an open-air bath, both with a wide view of the river. The water is sulfur-scented and gentle. The baths swap between men and women the next morning. There is no sauna and no private bath for rent, and the five rooms with their own bath use plain water rather than spring water. Day use (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is sometimes possible, depending on how busy the house is that day.
