Issuiso is a small ryokan of 13 rooms in Sakihana Onsen, and the only inn there on the mountain side, away from the river. The main bath (daiyokujo) is split into a cooler tub and a hotter one, with separate men's and women's sides. There is also a private open-air bath (kashikiri rotenburo) built by local craftsmen from local materials. All the bath water comes from Sakihana's own source. A few rooms have their own half open-air bath, added in a December 2023 renovation. Day-trip bathing (higaeri nyuyoku) is possible, but call on the day first, and kaiseki meals can be booked for day visitors.
