A ryokan in Aizu Yanaizu Onsen with an indoor bath and an open-air bath, separate for men and women. The water is cloudy and salty, and guests say it warms you through. The rooms and the bath area look out toward the river, and the open-air bath has a view of the Yokoido (横井戸) well belonging to Fukuman Kokuzo-son (福満虚空蔵尊), the temple above town. Day bathing is possible if you contact the inn first. Reviewers like the meals of local mountain vegetables and the easygoing, friendly feel of the staff. Bring your own toiletries, since the bath amenities are sparse.
