Nanaecho Kenko Center Apple Hot Spring is a town-run public bathhouse with two indoor tubs, one hot and one kept noticeably cooler, plus a sauna, a cold plunge and an open-air bath. The water is a simple alkaline spring, soft on the skin. It's an unpretentious neighborhood facility rather than a resort, but the rest room looks out over the Ono plain toward Mt Hakodate, and the lukewarm tub is enough of a draw that regulars mention it by name.
