About

Shukuhaku Taikenkan Kikori is a lodge run by Iitate village, with guest rooms in the main building and in detached cottages. The main draw for a bath visit is the large indoor bath, filled with an artificial hot spring made with natural ore rather than water from the ground. There is also a ganbanyoku (岩盤浴, heated bedrock bath) room with aroma, soft music and a space-themed setting. Day visitors are welcome as well as guests. Washing stations have shampoo, body soap and hair dryers, and there are lockers. A small cafeteria serves light meals at lunchtime. Tattoos are not allowed. Parking is on site.
