About

The main bath is a large indoor bath, separate for men and women, with big windows facing Mt. Ryozen. The water is spring water from the mountain with a local medicinal herb, Ryozen carrot (touki), added, so it is a herbal bath rather than a hot-spring one. Shampoo, body soap and hair dryers are provided, and lockers are available. It also takes day visitors, which suits hikers coming down from the mountain. The place is a lodge with simple rooms and detached cottages, and has a restaurant. It is run by the Date city development corporation and sits up a winding mountain road.
