This is a small family-run ryokan in Hawai onsen, Tottori. It keeps two shared hot-spring baths: a rock bath for men and a bath shaped like a gourd, hyotan-buro (瓢箪風呂), for women. There's also a private family bath that overnight guests can reserve, though it isn't part of the day-use plan. Day-use bathing itself is reservation-only, booked online by the day before, and comes with a themed collectible pin badge. Rooms are simple tatami-style, and dinner and breakfast, built around local seafood, are served in the room, or a private room for larger groups, rather than in a restaurant. The inn has a quiet, homey feel and welcomes families with kids. It also runs a collaboration with the Onsen Musume character series, with a small corner of fan-donated memorabilia inside.
