The indoor bath here is fed by mixed hot-spring water piped from Owakudani and Sounzan, a salty spring locally known for keeping bathers warm and easy on the skin. Alongside it are a jacuzzi (not onsen water) and a sauna with a cold plunge; there is no shared open-air bath. Some rooms are marketed with their own private open-air tub, but the ryokan is upfront that those are not filled with its onsen water. The stay is built around an all-inclusive format, with drinks and various services for overnight guests included at no extra charge.
