A restaurant or dining room open to visitors, not only meals for overnight guests
Wakamatsuya (折木鉱泉若松屋旅館) is a ryokan in the Oriki district of Hirono that draws on a kosen (鉱泉), a cold mineral spring, and keeps to that word rather than calling itself an onsen. The water is clear with almost no taste or smell, and bathers describe it as slippery and smooth on the skin. Day visitors can take a drop-in bath (tachiyoriyu, 立ち寄り湯) and order a meal there too. Visitors tell of a very quiet inn where they often had the bath to themselves, and a few cats around the grounds.
