Merveille Arima

This hotel in Arima Onsen has both of the area's classic waters under one roof: an indoor bath drawing the reddish kinsen (gold spring) and another with the clear ginsen (silver spring), plus a sauna and a cold plunge in the same wing. A separate outdoor rotenburo, soak only with no shower, uses the silver spring as well. Arima is counted among Japan's oldest hot spring towns, and the hotel sits an easy walk from the old town's streets, with rooms looking out over the Arima river or Mount Rokko.
