New Yumoto

New Yumoto (にゅーゆもと) is a 14-room inn in Mikawa Onsen, up in the hills of Aga. The bath looks out over the surroundings, and the water is on the lukewarm side, the kind you sink into for a long while and still come out warm. Day visitors are welcome (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). The big wooden building has a Showa-era feel, and visitors describe a quiet, plain inn run by a gentle owner, good for resting rather than for doing much.
