Wellness Forest Nasu is a European-style resort hotel attached to a golf course, with the Nasu mountains rising behind it. The shared baths, one indoor and one open-air for each gender, are filled with spring water that's kept flowing fresh, and there's a dry sauna, though no cold plunge. Four private baths let couples or families soak away from the shared rooms, and guests with visible tattoos are welcome to use those free of charge instead. Dinner is a proper French course.
