Hana no Orizuru

Hana no Orizuru is a day-use bathhouse with seven private bathing rooms, each rented out by the hour rather than shared with other bathers. Each room has its own bath filled with natural onsen water, and visitors mention rooms with both an indoor tub and an open-air bath. Regulars describe the water as smooth and slightly slippery on the skin with a faint sulfur scent, kept mild rather than piping hot. Some rooms have a sofa and hammock corner for resting between soaks, and shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. It sits in the Harazuru hot spring area in Asakura, Fukuoka.
