Irifuneso

Irifuneso is a plain, budget-friendly ryokan a five-minute walk from Ureshino's hot-spring town. The large bath was recently redone in a smart, understated style, with separate indoor and open-air baths for men and women. The water is the silky, skin-softening kind Ureshino is known for, and guests often describe it as leaving the skin feeling moisturized rather than tight. Downstairs there's a free lounge with coffee, tea and soft drinks where guests tend to linger after a bath. The inn serves breakfast only, no dinner, and keeps its rates low.
