Rate shown is the standard adult (18-64) walk-in bathing price for the main hot-spring bath; age-tiered rates apply for seniors, teens, children and preschoolers. Prices rise during Golden Week, Obon and New Year peak periods. A 10-visit ticket book is sold at the front desk.

Kids are welcome, but from age 7 they may not bathe together with the opposite sex, and children still in diapers cannot enter the tub (a baby bath is provided).

Chikushino Tenpai-no-sato is a day-use hot-spring complex partway up Mt. Tenpai, with no guest rooms, just baths, a restaurant and places to sit and relax. The main bathhouse has a plain indoor tub, a jet bath, a cold-water bath and a cooler bath, plus separate saunas for men and women: a self-serve steam sauna and a dry sauna on the men's side, an automated steam sauna that runs every 15 minutes and a salt sauna on the women's side. Six reservable family bath rooms let you soak in private, and there's a buffet restaurant and a free lounge with a cafe and a tatami corner. The open-air bath looks out over Dazaifu and Mt. Homan, and the outdoor cool-down area catches a view over the city below.
