About
Ryuzanso is a prefectural national lodge (Kokumin Shukusha, 国民宿舎) in Zao Onsen. The baths are one large indoor bath for men and one for women, filled with kakenagashi (源泉かけ流し) hot spring water. The 18 tatami guest rooms have no bath or toilet of their own, so bathing happens in the shared baths. It is a plain, practical place to stay in the Zao Onsen village, and the lodge has its own parking.
