About

A day-use bathhouse in Zao Onsen (蔵王温泉) with an open-air bath filled straight from the source, an indoor bath, and a cold bath for cooling off. Each changing room has a one-person box sauna that you book ahead (Komori sauna, おこもりサウナ). After bathing there is a free tatami rest area where you can lie down, a foot bath that uses the same source water, and a restaurant you can use without paying for a bath. The open-air bath looks out toward the Zao mountains through the seasons. There are no private family baths and no rooms to stay in, and tattoos are not admitted.
