The 16 reservable private bath rooms (kashikiri) are priced per room for 60 minutes: 2,500 yen on weekdays (2,000 yen for the Kawasemi room) and 3,000 yen on weekends and holidays.

Kotohira Onsen Yume Sansui is a quiet day-use spot in Hita, Oita, where four stone open-air baths step down along the Takase river under the trees. The water is kept flowing fresh and feels smooth on the skin, the kind of water known locally as a beauty bath. Norari-yu (のらり湯) opens straight onto the river almost like an infinity bath, Aun-no-yu (あうんの湯) has two tiered pools near a small waterfall, and the men's bath keeps a roof so you can soak in the rain. Beyond the outdoor baths, 16 reservable private bath rooms, kashikiri (貸切), across seven tub styles from river stone to hinoki let you bathe on your own, and two restaurants on the grounds serve handmade soba and yakiniku.
