Muika Onsen Hotel

This is a family-friendly ski hotel with a large indoor onsen bath and a view toward the Echigo Sanzan mountains. There's also an outdoor bath, though it closes every winter once the snow piles up. Children aged 8 and over are asked to use the bath for their own gender, and tattoos aren't allowed. Outside the bath there's a kids' room, a game room and a buffet restaurant, making it an easy base for a family ski trip rather than a quiet retreat.
