About
Kaze no Chimney is a small pension in Norikura Kogen with just three guest rooms, taking at most three groups a night and booked by phone only. Downstairs, separate from the rooms, are two private baths you can lock and use anytime; the water is a natural milky white sulfur spring piped down from partway up Mt. Norikura, warming and faintly scented with sulfur and yu-no-hana (湯の花) flecks. Every room, and the bath, looks straight out at the mountain. Guests often mention the owner couple's mountain-trout fishing, mushroom foraging, and beekeeping.
