About
Onyado Kodama is a small ryokan in Norikura Kogen, the highland between Matsumoto and Gifu's Hirayu Onsen, with just seven guest rooms and a milky-white sulfur spring that's kept flowing fresh into the tubs. Besides a gender-separated indoor bath, there are two free private baths you book at check-in: Konoka (このか), a wood-built indoor room added in 2024 with its own washing area, and Hokoroburo (ほころぶろ), an outdoor tub with no shower, just the milky water. The inn was renovated in spring 2024.
