YesLast entry for day bathing is 22:00, two hours before the evening session closes at midnight.
Towel rental for day bathing is an extra 330 yen, and children under 3 bathe free. A separate reservation-only bath-plus-dinner-buffet plan is available for 7,290 yen per adult on any day, not included in the walk-in bathing price above. Entry may be turned away during especially busy periods.

Ranpu is a large hot spring hotel above the sea in Hirado, with a handful of indoor baths and two or three outdoor ones with tatami-style decking that look straight out over the water. There are two sauna rooms, and the men's and women's sides swap each day, so which view you get depends on when you go. It's built more for families and groups than for a quiet couple's retreat. The restaurant runs a hearty seafood buffet, and the beach is close by. The building is older, with a bit of Showa-era (昭和) retro charm rather than a polished, modern feel.
