YesDay-use hours run shorter on Saturdays and the day before a public holiday than the rest of the week; hours can also change around long holidays, New Year and private events.
Adult day bathing is 650 yen on weekdays and 700 yen on weekends and holidays. Elementary-school children are 220 yen and preschoolers 110 yen. A 12-visit ticket book and an annual pass (which also covers seasonal park golf) are sold.

The open-air bath at this Shiraoi inn faces straight out over the Pacific, with an indoor bath alongside it and a small sauna and cold-water bath for cooling off. The water is a sodium chloride spring, used straight from the source with no added water and no recirculation. There's a dining hall on site for meals, and both bath towel rental and toiletries at the washing stations.
