About

Yasuda Onsen Yasuragi is a ryokan in Agano that also takes day visitors. The spring water is salty and faintly reddish-brown, and it leaves the skin smooth and the body warm. Besides the open-air baths there are indoor baths, a jet bath, a lying-down bath, a sauna with a cold plunge, and a private family bath (kashikiri, 貸切風呂) that can be booked by the hour. The gender-separated baths use local spring-fed water and stones from nearby Murasugi. The ganbanyoku (岩盤浴, bedrock bath) room uses stones from Tamagawa Onsen in Akita. The building also has a restaurant and a small theatre for traveling troupe performances.
