The house spring is a soft, alkaline water that fills the two open-air baths, Kibo-no-yu and Yume-no-yu, whose sea and mountain views swap between the men's and women's sides every day, plus an indoor bath with the same outlook. Four private baths can be booked same-day, one with a jet bath, and select rooms come with their own open-air bath, fed continuously by a separate, well-known silky-skin spring rather than the house source. Guests can catch sunrise from the hotel's own viewing spot and feed the kites that circle the coast, a favorite with kids. Day visitors can't come just to bathe.
