Hanashinsui is a small ryokan in Uramura, on the coast at Toba, with 25 rooms. The two gender-separated baths, each with an indoor tub and an open-air one, swap between a sea view and a mountain view through the day. A free open-air bath in hinoki wood and another in rock are open to any guest on a walk-in basis, no reservation needed, though they close for the winter from November to March. Only one room type, Koufuin, has its own private bath filled with onsen water; the other rooms' private baths are not onsen water.
