Kitanotamayura Atsubetsu is a day-use bathhouse in Sapporo's Atsubetsu ward, part of a small Hokkaido chain. The water is a real hot spring, and the layout runs several baths side by side: an electric bath, a black silica bath, a bath of faintly tea-colored moor spring water, and a jet bath, plus a reclining bath and open-air pools outside. Two saunas run at different temperatures, and the washing area has rows of stations. A food corner and a lounge with a large hall round out the building, and it draws mostly local regulars rather than tourists.
