Mercure Nagano Matsushiro Resort & Spa is a modern international resort hotel built around Matsushiro Onsen (松代温泉), on the edge of Nagano city. The outdoor rock bath is fed by natural hot-spring water and looks out over a green hillside; there's also an indoor public bath and a sauna.
