About
A simple old kyodoyokujo (共同浴場, communal bath) in the Oyu onsen town, run without staff: you buy a ticket from a machine at the door. The water is clear, colorless and very hot, and a valve lets bathers adjust it. There are no frills, so bring your own soap and towel. It is used mostly by local regulars, and there is no car park, so people leave their cars nearby.
