Choshi Grand Hotel sits right on the Inubosaki (犬吠埼) shoreline, and the baths face the open Pacific. There are two: a wide-windowed view bath (tensho-buro, 展望風呂) where you can watch the sea and the Inubosaki lighthouse while you soak, and a rock bath (iwa-buro, 岩風呂) built around the natural rock formation on-site. The water is a salty, warming chloride spring that stays in the body heat long after you get out. The rock bath section includes a cave bath that regulars rate highly. A sauna and cold plunge pools are also in the bathhouse. Some suites include a private view bath in the room.
