Shomen no Yu (正面湯) is one of three communal baths (kyodo yokujo, 共同浴場) in Atsumi Onsen that residents use in daily life. Nobody staffs it: you drop your contribution in the fee box, which goes toward keeping the bath running. Bring your own towel and soap, as neither is provided, and there is no parking at the bath itself, though free public lots are nearby. It is a local bath first, so expect to share it with neighbors and be quiet and tidy about it.
