Kamioka Onsen Dake no Yu (かみおか温泉 嶽の湯) is an inn in Daisen, Akita, that also takes day-use bathers (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). There is a large indoor bath and an open-air bath (rotenburo) on each of the men's and women's sides, so bathing is separated by gender. Visitors also mention a sauna. Towels and yukata can be rented, and the restaurant serves set meals and noodles. It is a practical local bathhouse with rooms attached, the kind where you can soak, eat and go. The site has posted a notice about a partial closure for renovation, so check before you go.
