About
Onsen Hirasa-jo, located in Hirasa-cho, Satsumasendai City, is the first natural hot spring bath in the Sendai area, reopened in 2022. It features a simple spring, a colorless and transparent natural onsen water that is suitable for neuralgia and sensitivity to cold. Facilities include a sauna, cold bath, electric bath, bubble bath, lockers with keys, and hair dryers. The spring emerges at the site of the Hirasa Castle ruins. It is located 500 meters along Prefectural Route 333 from Sendai Station, just past Hirasa Nishi Elementary School, with parking available for 40 cars.
