Day Use
YesDay-use hours are shorter on Wednesdays (15:00 to 20:00, or the next day if Wednesday is a public holiday) and on Saturdays and the day before a holiday (12:00 to 16:00). Entry may be limited when the baths are crowded.
Day-use bathing is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children on weekdays, rising to 1,200 yen and 600 yen on weekends and holidays.

Azumakan is a large ryokan at Dake Onsen, on the slopes below Mount Adatara. The spring water is acidic and kept flowing fresh, and depending on the day it turns cloudy white. Two named open-air baths sit in the garden, Tsukimi-no-yu (月見の湯) and Hanami-no-yu (花見の湯), plus an indoor bath called Haiku-no-yu (俳句の湯). A separate seventh-floor sauna area has a sauna looking out over the sky, a pair of barrel saunas, one of them facing the forest, and an infinity cold-plunge bath. Meals are served buffet style with a live cooking counter, drawing on local ingredients.
