Isohara Seaside Hotel

Isohara Seaside Hotel sits on the Pacific coast in Kitaibaraki, with two baths drawing on its own natural hot spring. SORA, on the rooftop, opens onto open ocean and runs on a schedule that swaps between men's and women's hours through the day. NAMIMA is a windowed bath down at wave level, close enough to the shore to hear the surf. Rooms face the sea as well, and the older building keeps its worn-in, slightly retro character rather than having it polished away.
