About

Built on the site of old terraced rice paddies (tanada, 棚田) above the Izura coast, this glamping and cottage resort has both a gender-separated indoor bath and a co-ed outdoor bath that sits right within the terrace landscape. The outdoor bath requires swimwear and is fed by the same kakenagashi (掛け流し, continuously flowing fresh spring water) source as the indoor baths. Cottages come with a private outdoor onsen on a semi-covered deck. The facility sits next to the teamLab: Hidden Traces of Rice Terraces art installation, which shares the same grounds.
