The hotel's indoor bath is a black-granite room, paired with two named open-air baths: Hotaru-no-yu (蛍の湯), tucked into a corner of the garden and open year-round, and Kosumosu-no-yu (秋桜の湯), open seasonally with a view over the surrounding mountains. It's a big family resort hotel connected directly to a ski area in Echigo-Yuzawa, with a buffet restaurant and baby beds and kids' toiletries kept right in the baths.
