Hanaori sits on the shore of Lake Ashinoko in Hakone, with a terraced open-air bath, called Tanayu, built into the slope for a wide view over the lake and the surrounding forest. The two shared bathhouses swap between men's and women's use morning and night, and guests can also book one of two semi-open-air private baths for time alone. A foot bath near the lobby lets you sit with the lake view without getting fully undressed. Bathing is for hotel guests only, no day use.
