Horieya Ryokan

Horieya is a small wooden ryokan in the middle of Iizaka Onsen. Bathing here is in two private family baths (kashikiri-buro, 貸切風呂), one bigger and one smaller, each with a lockable changing room. Guests say the water is quite hot. The inn has a retro, lived-in feel, and rooms are divided by sliding paper doors. Breakfast is brought to the room. A well-known public bath is a short walk away.
