A Shiawase no Yu

A public foot bath (ashiyu, 足湯) in Iizaka Onsen, about a five-minute walk from Iizaka Onsen station on the way toward the old Sabakoyu bathhouse. The name is a pun: sit down, put your feet in the hot water and you say "aa, shiawase" (ah, happiness). It is free to use, so it works as a short stop while wandering the town. Bring your own foot towel.
